Sabik Offshore are proud to be active members of American Clean Power (ACP), the leading federation of renewable energy companies promoting clean energy as the main power source in America.
ACP Offshore Wind took place on 18-19 October in Providence, Rhode Island, with more than 2000 visitors over the two days. Karsten Jacobsen and Stewart Erwin represented Sabik Offshore.
Karsten says,
“Our new booth, stand and backdrop received a very good response and our life-size display of components started some great conversations. We were able to speak with many of the developers, federal organizations and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) who are working to deliver projects in the USA. It was a very successful two days.”
During the conference, BOEM (the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management) announced the first lease sale for two proposed offshore wind areas in California, which will take place in December. This will be the first lease sale of sea-based wind turbines in the Pacific Ocean and means there is now going to be lots of activity on all three USA Coasts: East, West, and Gulf of Mexico.
