IEC61400-29 

In February 2023, the IEC published the IEC61400-29 – a new Standard for Aviation Obstruction Lighting.

We want to help our customers understand what the guidelines mean and how their upcoming projects will be affected. Sabik Offshore is ready with solutions which fit with the latest guidance.

The main aim of the document is to harmonize the approach to aviation obstruction lighting while reducing light pollution and maintaining safety, and it covers both on- and offshore wind farms. Now that the standard is ‘live’, it sits alongside the guidance that comes from ICAO and it is available for purchase on the IEC website.
